This is my second time eating here. I keep forgetting about this little gem because I work in the opposite direction but live here. I had catfish before, and right now I am in the dinner waiting on my to-go order of turkey necks with red beans and rice, collard green egg roll, and peach cobbler! I snapped a few pics so you can see the cool vibe here. I enjoyed the first meal. Very New Orleans! I moved from Lake Charles to here last year so.. yeah !! Stop by! It is deliciously authentic!!! TBC with todays meal!!

Such delicious food! I especially recommend the shrimp poboy. The bread was so good! The owner was very kind and helped explain the whole menu to us as we asked questions. She was delightful to talk to. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu and our favorites.

Every time we go in here the food is so good I can’t even explain it. It is without a doubt my most favorite restaurant hands down. I haven’t eaten anything yet that I did not like. The Lake Ponchartrain fish, the gumbo, the wings and today I had the crab and shrimp box. My husband is obsessed with their Daquiris as well as our friend group. Everyone who works there is so nice! It is more of a take food home to eat kind of place but they have a few tables inside. 100/10 stars across the board. Clean, amazing food and kind people. If this is what it’s like in NOLA I’m glad to have a small piece of it in Waxahachie.

Was looking for catfish in the Waxahachie area and came across this place, tried the catfish and I must say it's pretty good. Didn't know what's going on but the quality of the fish is not where it was, the price is went down but also the quality did too it's just not the same. What ever you guys changed please change back....

My first time visiting this restaurant. I went in and ordered a bunch of things because it all sounded good and I couldn't make up my mind. Everything was yummy and I will go back. Oh and the daiquiris are lip smacking good Valerie was so nice and patient with all of my questions. They take good care in packing the food to go.

The staff was extremely nice. I was unsure of the flavors so she kindly let me sample them. I ordered a catfish fillet crab cakes and red beans and rice. The fish was hard fried and seasoned well just like I like it. The crab cakes were tasty but I wish they would’ve had more filling. I didn’t care for the tarter sauce but the hush puppies were banging!! The red beans and rice was pretty good also, nice portion size and the food was made to order so it was piping hot and fresh.. as for the drinks they had a nice kick and the sweetness wasn’t overpowering like a lot of shops are. The peach Bellini flavor was soooo good and if you want a real buzz that Long Island ice tea will definitely get you there. The price range was pretty average. I will definitely be back!! It’s worth it and if you’re in the southern sector of Dallas’s suburbs this is definitely a place worth exploring! I highly recommend it

Amazing!! I like the hypnotic daiquiri, tastes really good. Fries were hot and FRESH which is the one thing that I love about a meal. The wait is worth it!!! That’s how you know it’s fresh and made on the spot. The kook-aid pickles were amazing!! We even ordered vodka pickles. Can’t wait to come back. The customer service was awesome.
